Pune: Courier Company’s Driver And Cleaner Arrested For Stealing Parcels Containing Apple Products Worth Rs 3.90 Lakh
Pune 12th August 2023: The Crime Branch Unit of Pune City Police has arrested a driver and cleaner working with a courier company for stealing delivery products worth Rs 3.99 Lakh. A case this regard was registered at Sahkarnagar Police Station.
According to police, a complaint was received about theft of courier parcels of Blue Dart containing Apple Company’s products from the city. Accordingly, the crime branch unit of the city police was investigating a matter. Inforamtion about suspected accused trying to sell the stolen mobile phones in the Padmavati Parking area was received and accordingly the police team raided the location.
Two accused identified as Abhijeet Arun Jadhav (26) and Akshay Sambhaji Nimbalkar (23) both residents of Daund taluka of Pune were nabbed. During the investigation the accused confessed to the crime and police have seized five Apple Mobile Phones, 1 Apple IPad and 3 Digital watches worth Rs 3,90,445 from their posession. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
