Pune: PMPML Driver Threatens Woman Traffic Constable For Asking To Move Bus That Was Creating Obstruction For Traffic Movement On Road, Booked
Pune 12th August 2023: The Pune City Police have booked a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) for allegedly threatening and arguing with the woman traffic constable for asking him to move his bus that was creating obstruction for the traffic movement. The incident took place at the Market Yard Chowk on Pune-Satara road on Friday.
According to the complaint registered with police, the complainant was managing traffic at the Market Yard Chowk when she asked the PMPML driver to move his bus that was creating obstruction to the traffic movement. The accused however started arguing with her and later threatened her with consequences.
A case in this regard has been registered at Parvati Police Station under sections 353 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation in the matter is underway.
