Pune: Crime Branch Takes Action Against Publiq Restaurant For Playing Loud Music
Koregaon Park, 11th January 2023: The Crime Branch of Pune city police took action against Publiq Restaurant and Bar for playing loud music and violating norms. Police have seized a music system worth Rs 1.75 lakh.
The Pune police carried out a full-scale combing operation on Monday night following directives given by Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr and Joint CP Sandeep Karnik. The music at Publiq Restaurant and Bar, which is located in lane number seven, was being played loudly from the sound system when the Social Security Cell (SSC) team was patrolling in the area. When the team arrived, they discovered that the music was being played loudly and for a longer period than had been allowed.
Accordingly, a case was registered at Koregaon Park police station for offences under Environment Protection Act. The action was taken by the SSC team comprising Senior Police Inspector Vijay Kumbhar, API Ashwini Patil and Ajay Rane, Anna Mane, Irfan Pathan, Hanmant Kamble, and Imran Nadaf.
