Pune Crime: Externed Criminal Creates Panic in Kharadi, Video Circulated on Social Media
Kharadi, 1st April 2026: An externed criminal along with his associates allegedly created panic in the Kharadi area and circulated a video of the incident on social media, police said. Kharadi police have registered a case against the externed accused and eight to ten unidentified accomplices in connection with the incident.
The accused has been identified as Nikhil Madhukar Kamble (23), a resident of Laxminagar in Yerawada. Based on a complaint filed by Police Havaldar Dattatray Kharpude at Kharadi police station, a case has been registered against Kamble and his associates.
According to police officials, Kamble is a history-sheeter with several serious offences registered against him. He had been externed from Pune city and district for two years by the Deputy Commissioner of Police of Zone IV. Despite the externment order, Kamble allegedly entered the city along with his associates.
Police said that on the evening of March 28, Kamble arrived with eight to ten accomplices in the Rakshaknagar area of Kharadi. The group reportedly gathered in front of Gold Society and allegedly attempted to create fear in the locality.
Kamble also allegedly recorded and circulated a video of the incident on social media, which came to the attention of the police. Following this, a case was registered against him and his associates.
Sub-Inspector Rahul Kolpe of Kharadi police station is investigating the case.
