Pune Customs Seize 58 Kilograms of Ganja in Major Drug Bust

Pune, 2nd July 2023: In a significant breakthrough, the Narcotics cell of Pune Customs intercepted a vehicle on Wednesday, leading to the recovery of a staggering 58 kilograms of Ganja. Acting on specific intelligence, officers swooped in and successfully apprehended the suspect responsible for the illegal transport of the contraband. The seized narcotics, valued at a substantial amount, were confiscated under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Following the operation, the arrested individual was promptly produced before the court and subsequently sent to judicial custody. Meanwhile, investigations into the matter are actively underway, as law enforcement agencies strive to unravel the larger network involved in the drug trafficking operation.
