Pune Darshan Gets a Cool Upgrade: PMPML Launches Air-Conditioned Tourist Bus Service for City Sightseeing
Pune, 9th April 2025: Tourists and residents eager to explore the rich heritage of Pune now have a more comfortable way to do so. The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has launched an air-conditioned “Pune Darshan” bus service, aimed at providing a hassle-free and affordable tour of the city’s historical and cultural landmarks. The ticket price for the full-day city tour is just ₹500.
The new service, operated from Deccan Gymkhana Bus Station and Pune Station’s Moledina Bus Stand, will run daily with buses departing at 8:45 AM from Pune Station and 9:00 AM from Deccan Gymkhana.
“Our aim is to make city tourism more accessible and enjoyable,” said PMPML’s Chief Transport Manager. “Pune has a vibrant history and culture, and this initiative is designed to help tourists experience it comfortably, with guided tours and air-conditioned travel.”

While the tour aims to cover all listed spots, PMPML has requested tourists to remain flexible. “Due to factors like traffic congestion or time constraints, we may occasionally have to skip one or two locations,” said the Chief Transport Manager. “We request passengers to cooperate in such situations.”
