Pune: Defamatory Text On Facebook Against Deputy Chief Minister Over Tax Exemption For Kashmir Files Film, Case Filed Against 15 People

Pune, 29th March 2022: Wadgaon Nimbalkar police station (Pune rural police) has registered a case against 15 Facebook account holders for posting defamatory text messages about Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on the social media website.

A post on Facebook demanded tax exemption for ‘The Kashmir Files’ movie. Some people posted obscene text defaming Pawar.

A case has been filed against Satish Vartak, Vishwajit Indradev Potphade, Vipul Bhongale, Vinod Pawar, Vijay Bhoge, Ranjit Rathod, Sachin Bhaiya Tipte Patil, Shantanu Ghaiwat, Prasanna Nizampurkar, Omkar Devarakgaonkar, Ashutosh Bhitade, Harish Shete, Kunal Mahadik, Ganesh Chormare, Abhijeet Deshmukh on Facebook.

Nitin Sanjay Yadav, a resident of Karanjepul in Baramati taluka of Pune district, has lodged a complaint with the police. The incident was reported on March 17.
