As of now, 100 people have been allowed for the palanquin departure ceremony in Dehu and Alandi. 50 people will be able to go with the palanquin to Pandharpur. Each palanquin will have no more than 50 men with it. They will not be able to walk with the palanquin. Ten buses will be provided with two buses for each palanquin. From the last stop, Wakhari, palanquin will be allowed to go on foot.

However, today, Dehu Sansthan has appealed to the CM Uddhav Thackrey to reconsider the decision. It is learnt that officials of all the ten honoured palanquins will meet together to discuss the decision taken by the Maharashtra government.
