Pune: Deputy CM Ajit Pawar Appreciates Women Police Officers For Their Hard Work

Pune, March 12, 2021: Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar expressed the hope that the prestige of the police department will rise higher due to the female Police officers who work hard in difficult situations.

He was speaking at a program organised by Maher Mahila Pratishthan to celebrate International Women’s Day. Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta and Maher Pratishthan President Vidya Mhatre were present on the occasion.

Pawar stated, “Problems suddenly arise before the police department. The department has a special responsibility in the current Corona situation. Coronavirus cases are rising so everyone should be careful.”

He added, “Good decisions were taken in the budget even in difficult times like Corona. We have announced concessions and schemes for women in the budget.”

Commissioner of Police Gupta said that the number of women police in Pune city is high. Women are working in important positions. He appreciated the work of all the women police officers and congratulated them all.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Namrata Patil, Swapna Gore, Pournima Gaikwad, Bhagyashree Navatke, Priyanka Naranware, and Madhura Korane were felicitated by Deputy Chief Minister Pawar with a sari, coconut, and certificate. The program was moderated by Swapnil Pore.

Maher Pratishthan President Vidya Mhatre informed about the work being done on behalf of the foundation. Meena Naik, Seema Ramanand, Nikita Lokare, and Amrita Shah of Maher Pratishthan were present on the occasion.
