Pune: Deputy Commissioners Of Police Instructed To Manage Traffic And Submit Reports Daily
Pune, 11th November 2022: The police have taken the brunt of the traffic jam in Pune, and now not only the traffic police commissioner but all the deputy commissioners of police have to keep an eye on the traffic jam. The Deputy Commissioners of Police who have newly joined the Pune Police Commissionerate will have to keep a close ‘eye’ on the traffic congestion in the city and will have to submit their report daily.
Pune has been known as a city of traffic jams for the past few days. Even the state government took notice of it and ordered the Pune police in this regard. Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta and Joint Commissioner Sandeep Karnik have taken serious notice of it.
In the next period, even the Superintendent of Police of the Anti-Corruption Department and other Deputy Commissioners will have to keep an eye on the traffic jam. The administration has issued orders that its report has to be submitted to the Police Commissionerate daily.
