Pune: Devotee Offers Rs 1 Crore Golden Crown at Shri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Temple in Alandi

Alandi, 18th June 2025: In a confluence of devotion, artistry, and modern technology, a devout couple from Nanded has offered an intricately crafted golden crown worth approximately ₹1 crore at the feet of Saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj in Alandi.
The crown, made from one kilogram of pure gold, was presented by Bharat and Meera Raminwar, long-time devotees of the revered 13th-century saint. The offering was formally handed over to the Shri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Sansthan at Alandi during a solemn ceremony attended by key trustees and officials.
Crafted by the renowned jewellers P. N. Gadgil & Sons Ltd., the crown took over four months of painstaking work. It is a harmonious blend of traditional design and cutting-edge 3D technology, featuring exquisite engravings of spiritual symbols such as the lotus, chakra, and sun rays — all signifying divine power, purity, and enlightenment.
What makes the crown even more special is that it was handcrafted by artisans belonging to the Warkari tradition, infusing it with deep spiritual significance and cultural reverence.
The presentation ceremony was held in the presence of Chief Trustee Yogi Niranjannath, Dr. Bhavarth Dekhne (Trustee and head of the palkhi procession), Temple Administrator Dnyaneshwar Veer, and Trustee Adv. Rajendra Umap, among others.
This sacred offering reflects the unwavering devotion of the Warkari community and stands as a shining symbol of faith, heritage, and divine grace.
