Pune: DIG Of Police Sudhir Hiremath Appointed To CBI
Pune, 21st February 2023: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Sudhir Hiremath has been appointed to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Hiremath is an IPS officer of the 2007 batch of Maharashtra cadre.
He has previously served as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Pune and Pimpri Police Commissionerates. He also held charge of Solapur Police Commissioner for a few days. Currently he is posted with the Maharashtra State Crime Investigation Department (CID).
Now on deputation DIG Hiremath is going to perform duty in CBI for the next 5 years. The order in this regard has been issued by the Government of India.
