Pune District Collector Imposes Restrictions On Gathering Of People At These Tourist Places Due To COVID19 Cases

Pune, 11th January 2022: As per the direction of the Maharashtra State government, the Pune district administration has imposed restrictions at tourist places due to the rise in Coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases especially those of the Omicron variant.

District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh issued an order in this regard today based on a report submitted by Pune rural Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Abhinav Deshmukh.

 

Guidelines have been issued for the following places:

Maval Taluka: Bhushi Dam, Ghubad Lake, Lonavla Dam, Tungarli Dam, Rajmachi Point, Monkey Point, Amrutanjan Bridge, Valvan Dam, Vehergaon, Tiger’s Point, Lion’s Point, Shivling Point, Karla Caves, Bhaje Caves, Lohgad Fort, Tung Fort, Tikona Fort, Pavana Dam etc.

Mulshi Taluka:  Lavasa, Temghar Dam area, Mulshi Dam area, Pimpri Valley Point, Sahara City, Kalvan area

Haveli Taluka: Sinhgad Fort area, Donje, Khadakwasla dam area

Ambegaon Taluka: Dimbe dam, Ahupe tourist area

Junnar Taluka: Shivneri Fort, Chawand Fort, Hadsar Fort, Ambe Hatvij, Wadaj Dam, Manikdoh Dam, Leopard Shelter Center

Bhor Taluka: Rohida Fort / Vichitragad Fort, Rayareshwar Fort, Bhatghar Dam area, Niradevghar Dam, Ambabade, Bhor Rajwada, Malhargad.

Velha Taluka: Rajgad fort, Panshet dam, Varasgaon dam area

The following restraining orders will remain in force till further notice in the one-kilometre area around the historical structures, forts and monuments, tourist spots, dams, etc.

1) Five or more persons will not be allowed to gather at the above-mentioned place.

2) Drinking and entering in an intoxicated state in the above-restricted area, keeping alcohol, transporting alcohol, selling unauthorized alcohol and consuming alcohol in the open.

3) Stopping vehicles on dangerous roads and dangerous places.

4) Driving carelessly while transporting vehicles, overtaking vehicles in dangerous conditions.

5) To throw food, garbage, glass bottles, plastic bottles, thermacol, plastic material

6) Harassing women in public places, making gestures, slandering or doing anything that would cause embarrassment.

7) Playing loud music in public places, playing the speaker in the car and causing noise pollution.

8) To do any action which will cause noise, air and water pollution.
