Pune District Collector Naval Kishore Ram Transferred To Prime Minister’s Office

Pune, August 5, 2020: District Collector Naval Kishore Ram who is known for his accessibility and quick response time to complaints and suggestions from Pune residents, has been transferred to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) as a deputy secretary.

The collector received the orders from the Ministry of Personnel Affairs on Tuesday. IAS officers are selected to the PMO based on their good performance. “I have been selected to work in the central staffing system for four years. I am happy about the elevation,” said Ram.

He is the second officer from Maharashtra to be transfered at PMO after Shrikar Pardeshi in recent years. Ram was appointed as a district collector in the year April 2018. In recent years he was known to bring the office close to local people by ensuring that all the local people are able to access his office and team problem for every grievance and complaint was address.
