Pune District: Over 11.32 Lakh People Tested For COVID, 2.76 Lakh Found Positive
Pune, September 28, 2020: With the addition of 3313 fresh Coronavirus positive yesterday, the total number of COVID cases has reached 276,325, in Pune district. Also, 3894 patients got discharged from hospitals while 80 people died.
Dr Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 276,325 patients 2,28,476 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 6300 people have died. There are still 41,430 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, also out of 41,430, 17,473 are Home Isolated. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 1,132,508 people have been tested in the district.
The 276,325 patients include, 142,136 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 76,079 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 5419 from Cantonment areas, 40,525 are from Rural areas, andand 12,166 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
