Clear sky has increased the flow of cold winds from North India to Maharashtra. As a result, most parts of the state have been feeling cold for the last two days. However, due to torrential rains in South India, the meteorological department has forecast showers at isolated places in the state from Friday to Sunday.
Currently, the minimum temperature in the state is declining. The hail continued on Wednesday with dry weather throughout the day.
Meanwhile, according to the meteorological department, the low-pressure belt formed in the Bay of Bengal has turned into a severe low-pressure area and the low-pressure belt will move towards the coast of Tamil Nadu by November 11. The intensity of these low-pressure belts will remain constant and will stop between Karaikal and Sriharikota off the coast of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
The meteorological department has forecast rains in Konkan, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada on Friday in Kolhapur, Sangli, Solapur, Sindhudurg, Osmanabad and Latur on Saturday and sparse showers in the state on Sunday.
