Pune Division Honors Two Train Ticket Examiners For Rs 1.06 Crore and Rs 1 Crore Earnings

Pune, 3rd January 2024: In a commendable recognition of outstanding contributions, the Pune Division of Indian Railways has felicitated ticket checking staff for their remarkable achievements in revenue generation. Under the leadership and guidance of Pune Division Railway Manager, Indu Dubey, the division continues to achieve various milestones in railway earnings.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Dr. Milind Hirwe, took the initiative to honor Head Train Ticket Examiner Nitin Telang and Senior Ticket Examiner Rupali Malve for their exceptional performance in ticket checking, resulting in earnings exceeding Rs. 1 crore for the fiscal year 2023-2024 (up to December 2023).

Head Train Ticket Examiner Nitin Telang, with ticket checking earnings of Rs. 1.06 crore, stands out as a notable achiever. He has previously been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Railway Minister Award, General Manager Award, and Chief Commercial Manager Award in 2017, 2016, and 2015, respectively.

Similarly, Senior Ticket Examiner Rupali Malve has demonstrated excellence in her role, contributing to ticket checking earnings of Rs. one crore.

Pune Division has been actively conducting intensive ticket checking across Mail Express, Passenger, Suburban services, and special trains. This initiative aims to ensure comfortable travel for all legitimate rail users, enhance services, and curb ticketless and irregular travel.

The railway administration extends an appeal to passengers, urging them to travel with proper and valid railway tickets to avoid inconvenience and uphold the dignity of travel. The recognition of exemplary ticket checking staff highlights the commitment of Pune Division towards achieving goals in railway earnings and providing efficient services to passengers.
