Pune, 4th March 2023: Kajal Dayanand Kamble, a handicapped mountaineer from Sangli, is set to achieve yet another remarkable feat by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in South Africa, on International Women’s Day (March 8).

Despite financial difficulties, Kajal’s dream of scaling the peak has become a reality, thanks to the support of Pune-based Aryans Group of Companies. The company’s CEO, Manohar Jagtap, provided financial assistance to Kajal to cover the entire cost of her expedition.

Mount Kilimanjaro is not only the highest mountain in Africa but also the fourth highest in the world, with a peak height of 19341 ft and 5951 m. On March 8, 2023, Kajal will proudly hoist India’s tricolour from the peak of this difficult mountain, a remarkable achievement for any mountaineer, let alone one with a disability.
