Pune: Doctor Arrested For Raping 19-Year-Old Patient
Pune, 7th July 2022: A 19-year-old girl who came to the hospital for treatment was allegedly raped by the doctor himself. Reportedly, he took nude photos of the girl on his mobile and threatened to make the photos viral on social media if she told anyone about it.
A case has been registered against the doctor at Kothrud police station and he has been arrested.

Police have arrested the 45-year-old doctor, a resident of Aundh. A 19-year-old girl has filed an FIR in this regard. All of this happened between November 2019 and December 2020.
The doctor has a clinic at Paud Road in the Kothrud area. The young woman had come to the place to be treated for spinal disease. Despite knowing that the girl was a minor at the time, the doctor concerned took advantage of her age and had physical relations with her in the name of treatment.
The concerned doctor allegedly took nude photos of the complainant on his mobile and threatened to make the photo viral on social media if she told anyone about it. A case has been registered in this regard and the accused doctor has been arrested. Police are investigating the case further.
