Pune: Driver Dies After Soap Truck Overturns Near Khopoli; Traffic On Expressway Towards Mumbai Disrupted
Pune, 15th October 2022: A soap truck overturned on a slope near Khopoli on the Mumbai-Pune expressway at around 9.45 pm. The driver died in the incident. Mumbai-bound traffic was disrupted after boxes carrying soaps fell on the expressway.
The soap boxes in the truck fell on the road and the truck driver was seriously injured in the accident. He was immediately admitted for treatment but he died before treatment.
On getting information about the accident, the RIB team, Highway Police and Khopoli Police rushed to the spot. The soap boxes lying on the expressway were removed.
