Pune: Drugs Worth Rs 11 Lakh Seized From Two Foreigners

Undri, 22nd March 2023: A Nigerian and a Yemeni who were involved in drug smuggling were arrested by Anti-Narcotics Squad One from Kondhwa. In two operations, the team seized Rs 5.5 lakh worth of cocaine and Rs 4.63 worth of Catha edulis. Apart from that, a mobile phone, Rs two lakh cash, and other valuables were seized (a total of Rs 11.35 lakh).

Police officer Pandurang Pawar received information that a Nigerian was preparing to sell cocaine in the Undri area. A team of API Laxman Dengle and API Shaileja Jankar, under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Vinayak Gaikwad, seized 23 grams of cocaine worth Rs 4.63 lakh, a mobile phone, a two-wheeler, and goods worth Rs 5.5 lakh seized from Felisk AJ Ekechukwu (52), a resident of Undri.

In another operation, according to the information of Police Naik Vishal Shinde, Rs 5.87 lakh Catha Idulis, Rs two lakh cash, a mobile phone, and goods worth Rs 8.74 lakh were seized from a Yemeni smuggler, Al-Sayaghi Abdullah Abdullah Ahmed (29).
