Pune: Drunk Father Shoots His Eight-Year-Old Daughter
Pune, 24th September 2022: A shocking incident took place in Narhe, Pune where a father shot his eight-year-old daughter under the influence of alcohol. A case has been registered against Pandurang Tukaram Ubhe (38), a resident of Rudrangan Society, Narhe, Pune at Sinhagad Road Police Station.
Pandurang Ubhe has a construction business. He has taken a licensed revolver from it. Currently, his business is in recession and he is in financial trouble. On Friday (September 23) night around 8.00 pm, Ubhe came home drunk and started an argument with his wife and others in the house over a minor issue.
Due to the continuous arguments, Pandrang took out his revolver and aimed it at his wife. Seeing this, the eight-year-old Rajnandini came screaming and started begging her father not to kill her mother.
Ignoring Rajnandini’s words, Pandurang shot Rajnandini without thinking. The bullet hit the left side of Rajnandini’s chest and she collapsed on the spot. Hearing the sound of a gunshot, the neighbours immediately came there and saw Rajnandini lying in a pool of blood. They immediately took her to Bharti Hospital and she is now getting treatment there.
