Pune: 7-Year-Old Girl Dies In Accident; Computer Engineer Driver Arrested By Police
Pune, 24th September 2022: A seven-year-old girl who was travelling on a two-wheeler with her father died after being hit by a speeding car in Kharadi area. In this case, a computer engineer is arrested.
The name of the deceased girl is Riya Umesh Pawar (7). Motorist Amit Kumar Sanjay Pradhan (41), a resident of Kumar Periwinkle Society, Kharadi was arrested in this case. Riya’s father Umesh Bandu Pawar (39) has filed a complaint at the Chandannagar police station. Reportedly, Amit Kumar is a computer engineer in an IT company in Magarpatta City.
Umesh and his daughter Riya were passing through the Kharadi area on a bike. At that time, a speeding vehicle hit a two-wheeler in Shitladevi Mandir Chowk. Riya, who was seriously injured in the accident, was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Police informed that she died before treatment. Pradhan has been arrested and Assistant Police Inspector Sonwane is investigating the case.
