Pune: Drunk Woman Creates Chaos in Wanwadi, Residents Demand Strict Action

Pune, 15th February 2025: A heavily intoxicated woman caused a public disturbance in Wanwadi late Friday night, leaving local residents distressed. The incident, which took place at Jagtap Chowk, has sparked outrage, with citizens demanding strict action from the police to maintain law and order in Pune.

Eyewitnesses reported that the inebriated woman was shouting, using offensive language, and obstructing traffic by standing in the middle of the road. As a result, a large crowd gathered, leading to significant traffic congestion in the area.

According to preliminary reports, the woman was returning home from a popular bar near Pune Station after attending a party. However, under the influence of alcohol, she lost control and began causing a disturbance on the road. Several citizens attempted to calm her down, but she became even more aggressive.
