Pune, 17th November 2021: Dynamites struggled to get past their opponent and joined Snigmay FC and Giantz FC in the quarterfinals of the inaugural City Cup 2021 knockout tournament at the City Sports Arena, Moshi-Pune, on Wednesday.

The tournament is being organized by City F.C Pune under the aegis of the Poona District Football Association (PDFA).

In an intensely fought encounter, Dynamites left it late to down Khadki Blues 1-0 via a penalty kick conversion by Aniket Bharsakhale (58th).

Both teams levelled each other all through the game until a second-half foul by Khadki Blues defender Praveen Gawali on Sunit Gupte led to a penalty kick.

In the other matches, Snigmay F.C eased past Nav Maharashtra FC 4-1. An early strike by Sangram Patil (2nd) gave Snigmay the early advantage. A two-goal effort in a span of 6 minutes by Subodh Lama (10th, 16th) took the tally to 3-0. Nav Maharashtra against the run of play pulled one back via Vaibhav Vodobe (19th).
