Pune: Elderly Couple Among Four Rescued After Tree Falls on Car in Bhugaon
Bhugaon, 27th July 2025: A major obstruction occurred on the road behind Bhugaon Ellora Wines when a tree collapsed, trapping a four-wheeler underneath. All four occupants managed to exit the vehicle safely before the fire brigade arrived on the scene.
The vehicle was carrying four members of the Amle family:
- Ananda Amle (70)
- Vijaya Amle (65)
- Rohidas Amle (38)
- Ganesh Amle (36)
None of them sustained any injuries in the incident.
Responding swiftly, a team from the NDA Fire Brigade conducted a rescue and road-clearing operation. Using chainsaws and axes, the personnel successfully removed the fallen tree, pulled out the vehicle, and restored traffic movement in the area.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Fire Officer Sunil Name. Team members included Tandel Gawade, Firemen Ube, Mane, Naikanaware, Thopte, and Driver Gogawale.
