Pune: Electricity Outage In Lohegaon For Over 8 Hours, Traffic Jam On Wagholi Road

Lohegaon, 13th June 2022: Due to an overload on a transformer in Lohegaon, there was a power outage in the area since 1 pm today. The transformer was changed by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) and electricity was restored around 4.30 pm. However, a truck damaged a pole on the Wagholi-Lohegaon road in Santnagar which again resulted in power outage, MSEDCL PRO Nishikant Raut told PunekarNews.in.

He further informed that the electricity will be restored in the next two hours.

Thousands of residents in the area are still in the dark till filling of this report at 9 pm.

“There is a traffic jam on the Wagholi-Lohegaon road and people are forced to take a detour via Viman Nagar”, said Vivek Yadav, a resident of Gurudwara Colony, Lohegaon.
