Pune: Encroachment Operation in Kondhwa, 40,000 Sq Ft Encroachment Demolished By PMC

Pune, 14th October 2022: Today, action was taken against encroachments at survey number 54, Kondhwa Budruk through the office of Building Development Department number two of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
It is seen the owners have constructed unauthorised Patra sheds and paved structures in the 84 meters of land affected on DP road in the development plan of PMC, without taking any prior permission from the PMC.
Considering the traffic issue in the Kondhwa- Katraj area, the development of 84 meter DP road has become very necessary. Hence, PMC is planning to take over the affected area and develop the road.
For this, the encroachments on the affected areas by road width are being removed through the PMC.
On behalf of zone number two, Executive Engineer Rahul Salunkhe, the team of Deputy Engineer Shankar Duduskar, Junior Engineer Nishikant Chapekar, Sandesh Patil, Dhananjay Khole, Hemant Kolekar, Kumawat and Police Inspector Adagale of Encroachment Department took action against encroachment with the help of JCB and Jaw Cutter.
After starting the action, some sheds were removed by the site owners themselves. In this operation, about 40,000 sq ft of unauthorised construction was demolished.
To develop the road, this action will continue and the land owners have been appealed to submit a proposal to transfer the land affected by road width to the PMC. Appropriate compensation for the affected properties will be given through the administration.
