Pune: Engineer Stabs Neighbour To Death After Argument Of Construction Waste Falling On His House

Pune, 11th January 2022: An electrical engineer stabbed his neighbour to death out of an argument over construction waste. The incident took place at 10 am on Monday at Sukhsagar Nagar in Bibwewadi.

The deceased has been identified as Sharad Sitaram Puri (35), resident of Sukhsagar Nagar, Bibwewadi. Police have arrested the accused Sachin Vitthal Kapatkar (46).

According to police, Puri and Kapatkar were neighbours in Sukhsagar Nagar (2) in Bibwewadi. Puri had a small business, he lived there with his family. Patkar is an electrical engineer. But he is unemployed for three to four months. Meanwhile, Puri had started construction of his house. Construction waste used to fall on Kapatkar’s house and car. The two argued about that many times.

Meanwhile, around 10 am on Monday, Kapatkar attacked Puri with a knife. In this, Puri was seriously injured and died.
