Pune: PMC Issues Notices To 54 Unattended Vehicles Owners For Encroaching Roads In Viman Nagar, Kharadi, Vadgaonsheri, Kalyaninagar

Viman Nagar, 11th January 2022: Notices have been issued to owners of 54 unattended vehicles encroaching on the roads in three wards coming under the Nagar Road ward office of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). Most of these vehicles are in the Kharadi area.

Fourteen teams from the Anti-Encroachment Department has been formed for this drive. Notices were issued to owners of 16 vehicles lying on Janak Baba Dargah to Fountain Road in Kharadi, two from Kharadi Aaple Ghar area, fourteen from Vadgaonsheri, 10 from Viman Nagar, six from Shastrinnagar and six from the Kalyaninagar area.

The PMC has undertaken a massive search operation to find unattended two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers on the roads which are obstructing the traffic.

Anil Pardeshi, an encroachment inspector of the Nagar road ward office said that all the vehicles would be removed from the road seven days after the notice was issued. At that time a panchnama will be conducted. In addition, the cost of the action will be recovered from the vehicle owners.
