Pune Erandwane Bike Accident: Youth Dies, Friend Injured in High-Speed Crash Near SNDT College
Pune, 4th June 2025: The tragic incident occurred on Saturday afternoon around 4 PM, when Tanmay Sachin Kalantre, a resident of Kothrud, and his friend Setu Surendra Sarkar were riding a motorcycle at high speed on the road opposite SNDT College. According to police, the vehicle lost control, skidded, and both riders fell onto the road.
Tanmay sustained critical head injuries and was pronounced dead before receiving medical treatment. Setu suffered injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. The accident, reported by Assistant Police Inspector Vijay Dengale of Deccan Police Station, was officially registered at the police station on Tuesday.
