Pune: Essential Maintenance on February 29, 2024: Water Supply to be Halted for Flow Meter Installation

Pune, 26th February 2024: On Thursday, February 29, 2024, essential maintenance work on a new tank at Kusmade Colony, within the jurisdiction of the Bhama Askhed Project, and urgent structural maintenance on the Thakarsi tank will necessitate a complete shutdown of water supply to certain areas of Pune city served by the aforementioned pumping facilities. Additionally, on Friday, March 1, 2024, there is a likelihood of a delayed and low-pressure water supply in the morning due to ongoing maintenance activities.
On February 29, 2024, the water supply will be temporarily halted due to the installation of a flow meter on the Thakarsi tank line, administered by the Bhama Askhed project. On March 1, 2024, the water supply is expected to resume with low pressure. All residents are urged to take note of this and cooperate accordingly.
