Pune: Ex-Corporator Gafur Pathan Booked In Assault Case
Kondhwa, 29th October 2022: A case has been registered against ex-corporator Gafur Pathan (45) for allegedly assaulting a representative of an advertising company.
Atul Madhav Sangamnerkar (55) of Caption Outdoors Advertising Company has lodged a complaint with the police. The incident took place on October 28 at Reji Kondhwa. The birthday banner of corporator Gafur Pathan was being displayed on his advertisement hoarding without taking the permission of the advertising company. In this case, the concerned company had sent the banner to the office of Pathan on the advertisement hoarding.
Sangamnerkar went to meet Pathan at his office to collect the payment for this advertisement. At this time, Pathan abused Sangamnerkar and beat him up with kicks and said that he would not pay the amount. Therefore, Sangamnerkar has lodged a complaint in this regard with the Kondhwa Police.
Accordingly, a case has been registered against Pathan under various sections. Further investigation in this regard is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector S Shelinkar of Kondhwa Police Station.
