Pune : Explosion At Jubilant Ingrevia Company’s Manufacturing Plant In Nira, Three Workers Injured
Pune 2nd Sept 2023: An explosion was reported at a manufacturing plant of Jubilant Ingrevia in Nira village of Purandar Taluka earlier today. According to reports the explosion was reported during maintenance work at the company and three workers have sustained injuries in the incident.
The local Lok Sabha MP of the area Supriya Sule also tweeted “I heard details about an explosion in the Ethel Five compressor at the Jubilant Ingrevia company in Nira in which some workers have been injured.It is a very sad and unfortunate incident. I have spoken to the District Collector of Pune regarding this incident and I am in touch with the district administration. I pray to God that the injured are being treated and return home safely.”
According to reports, the workers sustained injuries in the incident and they were rushed to a private hospital in Lonand for treatment. The incident was reported at around 11 am on Saturday. Jubilant Ingrevia is a global integrated Life Science products and Innovative Solutions provider and it has manufacturing plants at multiple locations across the country.
