Pune: Explosion Of Blow Gas Torch While Doing Electric Work
Pune, 13th June 2022: An explosion was heard in Bhavani Peth on Sunday (June 12) evening and the police rushed to the spot. Samarth police, crime branch police and other investigating agencies visited the spot and inspected it. An investigation revealed that a blow gas torch had exploded at the time.
According to the information given by the police, a blow gas torch exploded while the person concerned was repairing a washing machine. This time the glass of the windows was shattered. However, no one was injured in the accident. One person was interrogated in the case, he said, adding that the incident took place while doing repairing work on a washing machine.
Officers of various teams including senior officers visited the spot. According to Vishnu Tamhane, Senior Inspector, Samarth Police Station, no suspicious act was found during the inspection.
