Pune: Facebook Friend Booked For Demanding Rs 1 Crore From Married Woman For Not Sharing Videos

Wanowrie, 15th July 2021: A 34-year-old married woman has lodged a complaint with Pune city police against her Facebook friend for demanding Rs one crore for not sharing her obscene photos and videos.

An FIR has been registered against Saurabh Subhashchandra Sukhija of Patiala in Punjab.

According to police, they had met through Facebook. After chatting on Messenger, he came to meet her. He drugged her cold drink and after she became unconscious, he clicked photos and made videos. He also took away her gold chain (mangalsutra).

The accused had kept her photo and video as status message. He demanded Rs one crore to return the mangalsutra and not sharing the videos and photos, police said.

Senior police inspector Deepak Lagad is further investigating the case.
