Pune, 11th July 2025: Pimpri Police have registered a case after a Rs 48 lakh home loan fraud was uncovered at the Bank of India’s Pimpri branch, where suspects used forged documents under the pretense of flat purchase to secure the loan amount.

According to police, the accused, identified as Pritam Praful Velankar of Nigdi Pradhikaran and Sushma Mahadev Mane of Kiwale, conspired to create a fake demand letter and presented a fraudulent flat purchase agreement for a property in the Shruti Pride building owned by Nilesh Patil.
