Pune: Festive Spirit Abounds as Devotees Converge at Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple on Gudhi Padwa
Pune, 22nd March 2023: Pune is celebrating the auspicious occasion of Gudhi Padwa with great devotion and enthusiasm. As part of the celebrations, thousands of devotees visited the renowned Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple.
The Gudhi Padwa festival holds a special significance for Marathi and Konkani Hindus.
Devotees from all over the city gathered at the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Ganapati and usher in the New Year with a darshan of the deity. The idol of Dagdusheth Ganpati was adorned with Halwa ornaments, adding to the festive atmosphere. The temple was beautifully decorated with flowers to mark its 39th anniversary.
The temple has been a revered site for many years, and various religious programs were held to celebrate the occasion. The devotees paid their respects to Lord Ganapati and sought his blessings for a prosperous and fulfilling year ahead.
