Pune: Final Order Issued by Traffic Branch Regarding No-Parking under Vishrambagh Traffic Division
Pune, 24th April 2024: In a bid to maintain traffic safety and ensure smooth flow in Pune city, the Traffic police have issued final orders, taking into account objections and suggestions received on the temporary orders issued earlier under the Vishrambagh Traffic Division.
According to the latest directive, no parking is permitted on the right side of the road for 20 meters adjacent to the entrance wall of Tilak Smarak Temple, and for 50 meters on the right side of the road when approaching Tilak Smarak Temple from Narlikar Institute (Kumar Stationery and Xerox shop).
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Rohidas Pawar clarified in the order that this ruling does not apply to vehicles of essential services such as fire brigade, police vehicles, and ambulances, among others.
