Pune 18th Oct 2023 : In a heroic rescue operation, the fire brigade team successfully saved a dog trapped in a house fire near Ranka Jewelers in the Ravivar Peth area. The fire broke out on the fifth floor of the building, where firefighters swiftly reached with their equipment.

Upon arrival, the firefighters encountered intense flames and thick smoke. Despite the building being evacuated and doors locked, the team used their tools to force entry. Inside, they found the house engulfed in flames, with household items charred.

Amidst the chaos, one of the firefighters noticed a dog attempting to escape the fire. With utmost courage, they swiftly lifted the canine and brought it to safety. While the dog suffered from smoke inhalation, it was thankfully alive, thanks to the quick response of the firefighters.

The woman expressed her heartfelt thanks to the firefighters, particularly acknowledging their compassion in saving her beloved dog, named “Ranu.”

The firefighting team, led by Officer Pradeep Khedekar, along with firefighters Mangesh Miovnay, driver Sandip Karne, and firefighters Chandrakant Gawde, Azim Sheikh, Omkar Bonbale, Sagar Shirke, and Tushar Janakar, actively participated in the rescue mission.
