Pune: Fire Incidents At Eight Places In Pimpri-Chinchwad Due To Firecrackers
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 25th October 2022: Eight minor fire incidents occurred in Pimpri-Chinchwad on the day of Lakshmi Puja (October 24). The Fire Brigade Department of Pimpri-Chinchwad has informed that there was a fire in the gallery of a flat.
Diwali was celebrated with great enthusiasm for the first time after the Covid-19 pandemic in Pimpri-Chinchwad city. From kids to adults, everyone enjoyed bursting crackers. But these firecrackers have caused fire incidents in some places.
Fire incidents have occurred in seven to eight other places including Pimpri, Wakad, and Bijlinagar. The Fire Brigade Department also informed that a coconut tree was on fire due to the bursting of firecrackers.
