Pune: First Mass Ganesh Procession Held In Dhankawadi, 9 Mandals Join Hands
Dhankawadi, 31st August 2022: The country’s first largest combined public Ganesha Mandal procession created a new history today (August 31) by bringing together nine public Ganesha Mandals in Dhankawadi, Pune.
This public procession started from Gulab Nagar, Dhankawadi to Mohan Nagar, Dhankawadi with devotion, enthusiasm, enthusiasm and passion. On this occasion, the Dyanaprabodhini band graced the entire procession.
Famous actress Mrunal Kulkarni, actor Vaibhav Wagh, MLA Bhimrao Tapkir, former mayor Dutta Dhankawade, Varsha Tapkir, Sumit Khedekar, Vishal Tambe along with hundreds of devotees witnessed this public Ganesh procession.
Honouring the rules made by the police department, the following Mandals came together for the common procession -Keshav Mitra Mandal, Pancharatneshwar Mitra Mandal, Akhil Narveer Tanaji Nagar Mitra Mandal, Jai Maharashtra Mitra Mandal, Five Star Mitra Mandal, Vidyanagari Mitra Mandal, Ekta Mitra Mandal, Ramakrishna Mitra Mandal and Akhil Mohan Nagar Mitra Mandal in Dhankawadi.
In the future, a united universal Ganeshotsav will be celebrated on a large scale in Pune. The courage that has been shown by the Mandals in Dhankavadi by coming together, Anirudh Yevle, president of Bhavna Mohannagar Mitra Mandal, said that this method should gradually spread in society.
Also, the presidents of these nine mandals and Vijay Kshirsagar, Anant Shinde, Vikas Madane, Milind Kale, Somnath Shirke, Samir Dighe, Chetan Chavan, Sunil Pisal, Pratik Kumbhare, Yuvraj Shinde, Mayur Burse, Gurunath Salunke, Atharva Deshpande, Vishal Nigde, Abhishek Tapkir, Ajay Ingle, Abhijit Bhopale, Shirish Deshpande Sagar Sable, Vijay Kshirsagar, Pratik Kumbhare, Abhishek Tapkir and Sameer Dighe were present at the places of the procession.
