Pune: First Merit List For Class 11 Admission Announced; 42,000 Students Admitted
Pune, 3rd August 2022: The merit list for the first round of the online admission process of class 11 in the Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad municipal areas was announced on Wednesday. Over 42 thousand children were admitted during this first round, 24 thousand of which received admission to their first choice colleges. Admitted students can confirm their admission by August 6 by verifying the documents.
1,11,430 seats are available for admissions in 317 junior colleges in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad municipal areas. 1,00,555 students registered for the first round, out of which more than 69 thousand students filled the second part of the admission form by mentioning the preference order of the colleges. 6,820 students got their second choice, and 3,515 students got their third choice of college.
Admission is mandatory for students who have got their first choice of college. Students who do not get admission despite getting the first choice college will be barred from the next round. Students who wish to take admission must complete the following admission process by selecting the option ‘Proceed for Admission’ through their login on the website. The second round of admission will start from 7th August.
