Pune, 20th December 2021: Five Indian players Shreya Tatavarthy, Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty, Arthi Muniyan, Nidhi Chilumula scored contrasting wins to enter the Main Draw at the

 

 

In the final round qualifying, Shreya Tatavarthy upset eighth seed Elena Jamshedi of Denmark 6-1,6-2 registering a credible win

 

 

In other All Indian matches Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty out rallied Humera Baharmus 6-1,6-4, Arthi Muniyan came back from the loss of the first set to down seasoned Sharmada Balu 1-6,6-4[10]

 

 

In a tough match, Nidhi Chilumula ended the aspirations, upsetting second-seeded Jennifer Luikham 4-6,6-4,[10-6] to make it to the main round. Top-seeded Clara Vlasselaer of Belgium, Third-seeded So Ra Lee of South Korea, sixth-seeded Weronika Baszak of Poland were the other players to make it the main draw.
