Pune: Flyover At Yerwada Golf Course To Be Completed By November

Yerwada, 4th October 2022: While going to the airport as well as Dr Ambedkar Chowk to Don Bosco route, the vehicles coming and going from the route always get stuck in traffic jams. Therefore, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) took a decision to build a bridge at this intersection.

The work on this bridge has been started for 2.5 years. However, this work was stopped for some days. Now the work of this bridge is 82 per cent completed. Center slab work is in progress at the golf club square. Apart from this, the ramp is being prepared on the Gunjan Chowk side.

Under the work of this bridge, there will be an underpass near Yashwant Nagar for citizens to cross the road. The work on this bridge is currently going on at a fast pace.

If this bridge is opened for traffic, it will be possible to reach the airport in less time. Besides, it will help to solve the traffic problem at Dr Ambedkar Chowk to the Shastri Nagar Chowk area.

Along with this, the resolution to name this bridge after Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj has been approved in the municipal meeting.
