Pune: Former BJP Cantonment Board Corporator Vivek Yadav was arrested by Kondhwa Police From Gujarat Border

Pune, 22 July 2021: Former BJP corporator of Lashkar Cantonment Board Vivek Mahadev Yadav, who was escaping in a notorious criminal conspiracy case, has been arrested by the Kondhwa Police from the Gujarat border. A case has been registered at Kondhwa Police Station in connection with the murder case. Earlier, Rajan John Rajamani( age 38 resident of Bhagyodaynagar, Kondhva) and Ibrahim aka Hussein Yakub Shaikh( age 27 resident of Wakad) was arrested for plotting a murder.
In 2016, Yadav was shot at night during the Ganesh festival. The shooting was carried out by Bablu Gavli, a criminal in Sarai. Both parties have differences and it all grew from the shooting that took place. Vivek Yadhav had planned the killing of Bablu Gavli. Time and place were planned. The two talked about it through calls and chatting. Meanwhile, Bablu Gavali came out on parole during Covid-19. Vivek wanted to go with a plan and kill him when he was out on a bail. However, the police got the information and the plot was hindered before the murder. 3 pistols and 7 cartridges of firearms were seized from the killer.
Meanwhile, Vivek Yadav and his accomplice successfully escaped. The search for the two had been going on for the past few days. Three different squads and the crime branch were investigating the matter. However, he could not be found. Meanwhile, the Kondhwa police team came to know that Vivek Yadav was from Gujarat. The squad rushed at the border and caught him. He is now being brought to Pune. Vivek Yadav’s accomplice and pistol supplier have not been found yet.
The action was taken under the guidance of Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police Namrata Patil, Kondhwa Police Station Senior Inspector Sardar Patil, Sub-Inspector of Police Prabhakar Kapure, Constable Yogesh Kumbhar, Police Naik Sushil Dhiwar, and their colleagues have arrested Vivek Yadav.
