Pune: Former Employee Booked For Sharing Company’s Confidential Information With Competitor
Pune 11th August 2023: An executive director of a company located in Pune has lodged a complaint against an employee for allegedly sharing confidential information with the competitor firm through mail. The incident took place at Lumax Industries Private Ltd company’s office located in Mahalunge, Khed in the city.
According to the complaint, the accused identified as Dinesh Brijlal Gautam (55) has caused financial losses to the Lumax Company by sharing important information with a competitor firm Fiam Industries during his employment. It is also alleged that he did it for financial benefit.
A case in this regard has been registered at Mahalunge MIDC Police Station under sections 406, 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with sections 72 and 72 (a) of the Information Technology Act. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
