Pune: Sex Racket Running At Spa Busted, Two Women Rescued
Pune 11th August 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police have arrested a woman for allegedly running a sex racket under the aegis of a spa in the Pimpri Saudagar area and two women have been rescued in the case. A case in this regard has been registered at Wakad Police Station.
According to the police, a secret information was received about a sex racket being run at R J Spa located at the Spot 18 Mall in Pimple Saudagar area. After verifying the details, the police team raided the location and two women were rescued. It was revealed that the woman accused who was running the spa had forced the victims into prostitution on the pretext of giving them money.
A case in this regard has been registered at Wakad Police Station under sections 370 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with sections 3, 4, 5 and 7 of The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
