Pune, 22nd May 2024: The son of former NCP minister Prajakt Tanpure was compelled to change schools after enduring alleged harassment from Builder Vishal Agarwal’s son and a minor accused in the Kalyani Nagar accident case. The incident has sparked demands for action, with Tanpure’s wife, Sonali Tanpure, urging authorities to address the matter.

Expressing her frustration, Sonali Tanpure took to social media platform X to share her sentiments. In her post, she recounted the ordeal, stating, “After the car accident in Kalyan Nagar, I remembered those things again… The boy in the related incident was studying in the same class with my son. At that time, my son suffered a lot from some of them. I had complained about these children to their parents. But there was no proper response. Finally, my son had to change his school due to the trouble caused by these children. The adverse effects of those events still linger in his mind. If children with negative tendencies had been addressed in time, such a terrible crime might not have occurred. On that unfortunate day, an educated young woman became an innocent victim. Their families were shattered. These families deserve justice.”

In the Kalyani Nagar incident, a Porsche car driven by the teen hit a bike from behind resulting in the deaths of two IT engineers Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta. The accident took place around 2.30 am on Sunday (May 19) near Landmark Garden society on Kalyani Nagar – Airport Road.
