Pune, July 1, 2020: The First Year Junior College (FYJC), that is class XI Centralised Admission Process (CAP) will begin for students in the city from July 15 onward. The Education Department issued a notice regarding the same today (Wednesday). The students can start filling the part 1 of the application form online form at https://pune.11thadmission.org.in/

Schools and Colleges can start registering on the admission portal from Thursday, July 2. The CAP will be held in Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati and Nagpur Municipal cities as per the guidelines issued by the State Government this year to make the process simpler and faster amidst the Coronavirus lockdown.

The part 1 of the form will be open to filling from July 15 until the day Secondary School Certificate (SSC) class X results are announced. Respective higher secondary schools, junior colleges and guidance centres will start approving the information filled by the students from July 16 onward. Part 2 of the forms will open after the SSC results are declared online.

In a recent GR, the State Government has insisted on making the whole admission process including the payment of fees online due to the Coronavirus outbreak. As Punekarnews.in had reported earlier, this year, there will be no zero round for bifocal stream, and the admissions will be held simultaneously with the other regular rounds. Also, there will be no First-Come-First-Served (FCFS) round this year.
